WORLD DIPLOMACY FORUM
BALI, INDONESIA 2026
The World Diplomacy Forum is a 3-day immersive leadership experience designed for the next generation of global leaders, diplomats, and change-makers.
Built around real-time negotiation, crisis response, strategy, and leadership under pressure, WDF Bali 2026 places every delegate inside active global scenarios that demand clarity, confidence, and influence.
WHAT IS THE WDF Experience
Three days that change how you see yourself as a leader.
The World Diplomacy Forum is not a training program, not a seminar, and not a passive
conference. It is a three-day immersive challenge where every delegate is put in real situations -
negotiating, deciding, competing, and presenting - with peers from across the world, in Bali,
Indonesia.
WDF Core Leadership Themes
Strategic Decision-Making Under Pressure
AI Governance & Policy Thinking
Diplomatic Negotiation & Influence
Crisis Communication
Leadership Presence & Influence
Four Awards. One title. A recognition system built around what actually matters
Awards at WDF are not voted on by delegates at random. They are observed throughout the full three days by the ISLD facilitator team, who score delegates against specific criteria. Every session counts. Every moment is an opportunity.
The highest individual honour. Awarded to the most compelling, credible, and influential delegate .
Won through activities on Day 2 and Day 3.
Awarded to the group who performed at the highest level during the Day 2 Crisis Simulation.
Decided by the facilitator panel after reviewing all submissions and hearing all presentations on Day 2.
The delegate who showed the most remarkable personal growth across the three days - regardless of where they started.
Observed by the facilitator team. Given to the delegate whose Day 3 performance most clearly exceeded their Day 1 presence.
The delegate who demonstrated the most sophisticated diplomatic skill - reading the room, building alliances, navigating conflict with precision.
Observed throughout the Crisis Simulation and the Last Leader Standing competition.

DAY 1 · ARRIVE · CONNECT · PREPARE.
Networking Dinner & Delegate Kit Collection
Welcome Networking Dinner
Your first evening in Bali is not a formal event - it is the most important networking session of the conference. You will meet your fellow delegates over a curated dinner, collect your delegate kit (including your resource pack, reflection journal, and conference materials), and get your first look at what the next two days will demand of you. No agenda. No speeches. Just conversation.
Delegate Kit Collection
Each delegate receives their delegate kits and completes event check-in.
DAY 2 · LEAD · DECIDE · DEFEND.
Opening Ceremony + Crisis Simulation + Group Presentations
Opening Ceremony
The World Diplomacy Forum officially begins. ISLD leadership sets the tone, introduces the program philosophy, and outlines what the next two days will demand. Delegates are seated at their assigned groups - the people they will work with for the rest of the day.
The Crisis Simulation
This is the core exercise of Day 2. Every delegate plays the role of a Policy Advisor to a fictional international body. A live AI governance crisis is revealed on screen. The delegates will have 100 minutes to respond.
Phase 1 - Research (60 min): Groups use AI tools, resource packs, and their own knowledge to brief themselves on the crisis and develop their position.
Phase 2 - Build (40 min): Groups produce a PowerPoint presentation and a one-page position paper outlining their response plan. Both are submitted to the facilitator team at the end of the phase. All submissions are time-stamped.
Lunch Break
Group Presentations & Q&A
Each group presents their response plan to the full room. The facilitator team acts as the international panel - they ask probing questions, challenge assumptions, and probe the evidence behind each policy position.
Presentations are 8 minutes, followed by 5 minutes of Q&A. At the end of the session, the facilitator panel selects the Best Response Plan - the group whose policy was the most credible, practical, and well-argued. This is the Master of Crisis Leadership recognition.
Day 2 Close
Delegates are briefed on the Day 3 schedule, including the Knowledge Quiz and the Last Leader Standing competition. The evening is unstructured - delegates are encouraged to rest, reflect, and prepare.
DAY 3 · COMPETE · RISE · BE RECOGNISED.
Knowledge Quiz + Individual Presentation + Last Leader Standing + Awards + City Tour
The Leadership Knowledge Quiz
An individual written quiz based on the resource pack shared before the conference. Completed individually.
Individual Presentation - Open Floor
Delegates who wish to voice a pertinent topic may come forth and do so. Time is allotted based on number of delegates wanting to present.
Last Leader Standing
The competition that defines the conference. Four rounds. Progressively fewer delegates. One winner - the Most Influential Delegate. Details will be revealed on Day 2.
Award Ceremony
The formal close of the World Diplomacy Forum.
Lunch Break
Bali City Experience
An exclusive experience through Bali’s cultural landmarks - curated by ISLD as a celebration of the conference’s completion.
